Portal Access - Application Needs Internet Access

Hi, quite new to F5 APM, and having an issue with a particular application, and wondered if someone could point me in the right direction. The application has a map component, which requires local connection to the Internet. When accessing the site via Portal Access, it would appear the URL is directed to local F5 URL, rather than out to the Internet. I have tried searching for redirection / rewrite articles, but can't seem to find an answer. Any help appreciated.
