Port translation from 443 to 4443 in siebel app is not working properly.
I am load balancing for siebel web servers.
Client-->https-->F5-->https-->Webserver
Everything works fine when VS port is 4443 and web server port is 4443.
If set VS port to 443 and web server port is 4443 then i can only see login page and after that home is is not displayed. What could be the reason?
I want VS port 443 and webserver port 4443. It was not working even when everything was on http. Could this be the reason of siebel application? Cause different ports are working for another applications.

I have seen this happen when the back-end server puts the port in links/redirects to the client. When you run the VS on 443, are you seeing :4443 on the end of the hostname when it breaks?
- Login page shows smoothly. But after putting credentials the curser goes into loading and next page does not come if VS port is 443 and webserver port is 4443. if both are 4443 all runs smoothly.

What mimio is probably the problem. The application is generating links with the :4443 in the host header.
