OK I've seen them, thanks. So, the configuration looks just fine and I think perhaps you are expecting a bit too much from this feature? Traffic seen on interface 1.3 will be mirrored (and only mirrored) to 1.4. If 1.3 goes down, no traffic is mirrored. This feature doesn't allow 1.4 to act as a backup to 1.3. 1.4 will not assume 1.3s role and IP etc. This feature just copies traffic seen on 1.3 to 1.4 so you can capture it or send it to an IPDS or something similar. - What_Lies_Bene1

If you want interface redundancy I'd suggest you configure a LACP trunk to cover you at L2 and (assuming you have two devices) network failover for L3/4. - hassan_35511
