NoctilucentYou can monitor the pool members themselves, but not the services on those members if you specify 'any' service port on your pool.
For example, you could configure an ICMP monitor to just ping the pool members, or an external monitor to run some type of script directly against the server IP address. You still have options, just maybe not as robust or easy to implement.
