Pool Member Inactive - Red diamond

Hi,

 

I needs to understand logic, I have two pool members for same internal VIP. Both are listening same port 7071 , One of then is green and active while second is Inactive (red diamond) for same 7071 port.

 

we recently replaced F5 Appliance from 1600 version 10.2.4 to i2600 14.1 version.

 

why only one pool member is Inactive for same Virtual server, Is there any issues can be on F5.

we have dynamic ratio Load Balancing..

    So this is likely to be a monitor issue, but cant be sure whether this is due to the upgrade or not. Do you have a monitor on the node, like ICMP? If this is up, can you telnet to port 7071 from the f5 cli to the pool member? If both successful then is it a case of selecting the pool member and just enabling it?

    Difficult to say what the issues are but try above and it may lead you to a root cause.
