Policy remains in Standby node even after it was removed from the Active node and synced

Hello; We have encountered a situation where we are seeing that in the Sync process, even with an "Overwrite Configuration" option selected, the Standby node is retaining the policy option in the VIP config even after it was removed from the Active node. I tried creating a new object (for example: a new pool), Sync it with the Standby node and it will show the new object in the Standby node. However, the policy is still there.

 

I am running version 12.1.3

 

Any ideas?

    What modules do you have provisioned? Is that an LTM policy? Can you post here the virtual server configuration?

    Hello,

     

    Are you sure is not a cache problem?

     

    did you try to check configuration directly in bigip.con file?

     

    Please connect to standby unit in cli and check VIP directly in conf file.
