Pls give me the guidence to tell the two concept of the "clientside" and the "serverside"

i have learn iRules for several days，the basic knowledge is finnished，but there is an issue i don't know it clearly: 1,what is the real meaning of the "clientside" and the "serverside",(i am a chinese network engineer ,pls explain it with more tolarent ,thanks!!!)
