Please tell me the difference between ratio (node) vs ratio (member)

First of al it's good to know the difference between a poolmember and a node. A node represents an IP address and a poolmember represents an IP address and port number.
Ratio (member): Specifies that the number of connections that each machine receives over time is proportionate to a ratio weight you define for each machine
.within the poolRatio (node): Specifies that the number of connections that each machine receives over time is proportionate to a ratio weight you define for each machine
of which the server is a member.across all pools
