Please help to upgrade from 3600 to 4000 LTM
Hi,
Since LTM 3600 became the end of support. I'm trying to upgrade to 4000. I'm really new to Big F5.
I will very appreciate if you can tell me how to upgrade it to 4000.
Thank you in advance!

easier way is: https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K14906
However, In generally, we have to be more deliberately upgrading bigips. (there're much uncertainities, cannot guarantee..)

Hi Kalo,
Thanks for your reply. I heard that that method would work for the same hardware but wonder if that would work from 3600 to 4000....
I also heard that is another way to migrate for different hardware.... Can you please advise?
thanks!

It is possible to use an SCF file to migrate between dissimilar versions or hardware, but you have to be pretty familiar with the SCF to know what to excise and what to keep. It might be time to think about engaging F5 PS for this upgrade.

Thank you so much for your reply. Do you have any document or youtube video regarding SCF file?
I'm really new to F5 so would like to know exact procedures for the migration..
I'm sorry but what is F5 PS? And it is really sure that using an SCF file can help to migrate everything from 3600 to new 4000?
