Jul 19, 2006Persistence required; but not cookie and not IP based
Scenario:
Have 3 servers in a pool. Persistence is required; cookie or IP-based is not acceptable.
Suggested solution:
a) Node Select Expression (Universal)
b)
Stuck:
1) What can F5 read from an IIS web server?
2) If there was a unique ID (similar to session id) is there a way to persist to same node? Where can this unique ID be? (URI; Header; Content)
3) What would be the syntax to select a specific node based off of something in the Content or Header?
Nodes: 192.168.1.100:80; 192.168.1.101:80; 192.168.101:102:80
Using version 4.5.10.
Thanks in advance for the help!
