Persistence Best Practices
I was wondering what the best practices were around persistent times?
For example, while I know there is a template for Exchange lets pretend there is not. How would I best decide on the amount of time to persist a connection. For something like Exchange OWA, would we look at what the application timeout is? So if the timeout is 600 seconds, we should set our persistence to this?
Just trying to figure out the best settings to minimize RAM utilization while maintaining the application correctly.
Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, I would recommend keeping the persistence timeout as low as possible. It depends on application requirement. If the application timeout is 600s, I would say keep the persistence timeout slightly more than the application timeout. For 600s of application timeout, I would say, set it in the range of 600-630s.
