Persist RDP connection on msts value

Hi all,

 

 

We are trying to use an iRule to route based on the value of the msts cookie in an RDP session as found in this post:

Per citizen_elah's iRule (posted Posted:3/03/2005 9:02 AM - I can't figure out a way to link to a specific post).

 

 

However if you set the client's LoadBalanceInfo field, the cookie comes through as Unicode, vs. ASCII if you don't specify. We are not using Session Directory here - we are trying to get the F5 to route to a specific TS based on the value of this cookie.

 

 

So the rule we are basing this off of (from the post above) does not work. We are trying to find a way to convert the Unicode we get to ASCII so we can parse based on the iRule from that thread - any ideas?
