Persist on last octet of IP address

Hi All -

 

 

I am trying to create an irule to persist a user based on the last octet of their IP address. I'll be the first to admit, I'm not good with TCL and was hoping for a little assistance. Does anyone have something similar to a rule like this? Should this be done with regex, or is there another, better way?

    For those who are curious, I got this working:

     

     

    when HTTP_REQUEST {

     

    persist uie [getfield [IP::remote_addr] "." 4]

     

    }

     

     

    Works great.
