Performance GUI graph explanation

Could someone explains what are the Active and total New connections on the BIG-IP Performance GUI? Any documents exist to explain what is the traffic flow of these graphs? And also what is the meaning of TMM Server-side and client-side throughput?

    Serverside: F5 to Server

     

    Clientside: Client to F5

     

    Active Connections: Total connections at that point.

     

    Total New Connection: New connections that are established at that point.

     

    In the previous statements, "at that point" is a few seconds/minutes based on the sampling done by F5 device.
