Dec 03, 2007original address
Hallo,
my problem...
i have a ltm 1500 v9.xx
i want to use the original address from the client ip to request iis
in my case, the ip adress from the virtuell server (f5) becomes the iis
to example:
192.168.65.10(clientip) request 192.168.65.20(ltm) redirect to 192.168.65.30
in my case i see the ip 192.168.65.20(ltm) on my iis
and i want to see the ip 192.168.65.10(clientip)
thanks for your help

Hi,
If the request being decrypted by the BIG-IP, then the BIG-IP can access the HTTP headers and insert the X-Forwarded-For header using an HTTP profile with the X-Forwarded-For option enabled. The IIS server could then parse the header value using the DLL. If BIG-IP isn't decrypting the SSL, then there isn't a way for it to access or modify the HTTP headers or data.
