OpenShift integration problem
I am trying to POC the F5 Openshift integration with the bigip-controller but cant get the final steps to work. I followed the lab-instructions from F5 container labs which can be found here:
https://clouddocs.f5.com/training/community/containers/html/
More specifically, i followed Class 5 from that lab. The BIG-IP platform with LTM has been set up with version 14.1.0.2. I have only one node at the moment, but have set it up like in the lab with both local and floating self-ip's. A controller has been deployed in openshift, and we can see that it communicates with the F5 ltm.
When deploying a project in openshift, we can see that Vip, ltm-policy, irules and pool are created in BIG-IP. And when we send traffic to the VIP, we can see that it triggers the rule in the ltm-policy, and traffic is being sent to the pool. But it does not reach the destination in openshift.
I have one theory, and I want to know if someone can confirm it, or if anyone has any other ideas. If i run "tmsh show /net fdb tunnel ocp-tunnel" (can be found under network troubleshooting in the lab), i only get entries for the openshift hosts. In the troubleshooting example, they are also getting dynamic entries, which I guess is pointing to the deployed containers?
I have no dynamic entries in my environment.
My guess is that this is a licensing problem. I have no logs confirming this, but lab instructions says we need SDN-license. I've heard that this license is included in LTM-license after version 13. We are running version 14, but this is in a VCMP-environment, and the VCMP host only have 12.1 installed, so that might cause licensing problem?
Does anyone have any other ideas?
