Hi all,
I have recently set up a pool of WebLogic servers in our pair of 1600's running v11.2.1 HF3. I have a health monitor in place and everything is working as expected for that part.

12 years agoIf you have L7 persistence (like cookies) and you have requests being made over shared HTTP Keepalive connections (such as would come from a corporate proxy) then you need oneconnect to examine each HTTP request within a TCP stream individually. If you don't have persistence then you don't 'need' oneconnect.
It's also useful as it enables serverside connection re-use - you can hold open a pool of long-lived serverside connections and re-use them.
