Not all nodes listed in bigip.conf
Just curious where the node definitions live, for instance I have a few nodes (192.168.254.x) which show up in the GUI but upon searching the /config area (and even the archive extracts) they do not show up in the .conf files themselves. If I wanted to script a method to search my config for new node additions (think security / auditing) how would I do this? Which file contains the node definitions?
Im running a 9.4.6 LTM right now.
Thanks

Did you make the changes in the GUI or in TMSH? If you used the latter, did you save the config?
Secondly, rather than parsing the bigip.conf, have you considered using iControl?

Try running the command "b save all" and then review the bigip.conf file. If it is still inconsistent, then it's not behaving as I would expect. Unfortunately version 9 has been out of support for some time.

By chance did you create pools in other partitions? If so, you'll find separate bigip.conf files under
/config/partitions/[partition name]
