not able to reach web page

I have configured virtual server on loadbalancer. After Implementation we are not able to connect to the website through url but we are able to reach using IP address. Troubleshooting the issues. Would appreciate for any suggestions

    What is the DNS service that you have implemented in your infrastructure. Is the FQDN getting resolved to the VIP 1st. Unless the DNS query is resolved to this VIP, the traffic will not reach the destination. If this is a test lab setup, you can create an entry in your host machine and mention the IP, so DNS is resolved.

    what error message do you get? because if you can access it via Hostname but not via IP, then it means that the backend webserver is the one that is not configured to serve that website if accessed by IP address. On Apache, this is "NameVirtualHost"
