I would check the basic network setting.
- Interfaces of the F5 appliances connected to the same switch network?
- If in different locations, is the VLAN available in both locations?
- Interfaces of the F5 appliance in the same VLAN?
- Tagged / untagged settings of the interfaces on the F5 appliances?
- Subnet masker mismatch?
You can use tcpdump on LBA1b to see if packets from LBA1a reach this appliance. If not, your issue is network related.
