Node Throughput Limit
Hello All,
I'm using BIG-IP as load balancer of cache servers. The cache servers has limitation on amount of bandwidth. I tried to define this limitation on BIG-IP but it seems it only support number of connections per node not the bandwidth. Do you know a way to define the bandwidth of each node in the BIG-IP LTM so when it exceeds the specified bandwidth then make it offline and don't forward more request to that ndoe.
Thank you,

can cache server's bandwidth be checked by snmp? if yes, it may be possible to create external health monitor to check snmp and mark it down if it exceeds threshold.
just my 2 cents.

Yes it supports SNMP. You mean it's possible to check define SNMP based health monitor to check a specific OID and define threshold on that?
