Next LTM and GTM platform ..?

Dear i am trying to do upgrade for our platform LTM - BIG-IP 3900 BIG-IP 12.1.2 Build 0.0.249 GTM - BIG-IP 1600 BIG-IP v11.5.1 (Build 8.0.175

 

my choice below is correct ...?

 

for LTM = 5200V , C109 for GTM = 2200s DNS C112

    Question is not so clear.

     

    What i understand, Do you want to upgrade from V11.x to v12.x? Both Version has own advantage. If you wanted to add new feature in F5 then go to V12.x.

    Hi,

     

    2200 and 5200v are 2012 appliances. Use i series released in November 2016.

     

    I recommend :

     

    • 1600 GTM --> BIG-IP i2600 DNS
    • 3600 LTM --> BIG-IP i4600 Local Traffic Manager

    All i series appliances have only SFP / SFP+ interfaces and Gbic are required.
