i want to understand the flow and steps to implement bigip ltm,asm along with inbound ssl traffic interception for some IPS solution(could be any OEM).

Perhaps this guide by Jason Rahm will help you along the way;
I have tested the setup myself in a LAB, and it works.
The guide explains the use of LTM, but you can also have ASM on the same unit without any changes to the configuration.
