Need some help or redirection

Dear all,

 

I'm new to this forum. I've been looking about for an F5 Loadbalancer forum as I have some questions I would like to ask on a possible network design involving F5 load balancers, but am not sure if this is the correct forum to post my questions. This seems to be a forum for icontrol and soap.

 

 

Could some one give me some directions to the right place, or if this is the right place, could someone help with my questions below? Thanks in advanced!!!!!

 

 

1. I have 2 Big IP 2000 series IP switches load balancing my web servers. My question is whether anyone knows what the maximum concurrent connections to these 2 boxes are?

 

 

2. Have anyone seen the Big IP 2000 IP Switches being used not only as an SSL termination point, but also as the load balancer and reverse proxy to a cluster of internal web servers?

    I don't personally know the numbers you are asking for the maximum concurrent connections. As for whether we've seen configurations load balancing and reverse proxying, then answer is yes. We have seen all kinds of configurations out there. All the questions you ask should be easily answered by BIG-IP customer support. Sorry to pass the buck, but I want you to get the correct information.
