MySQL Monitor Support - Issues

Greetings,

 

 

Has anyone successfully setup a MySQL monitor on the BIG-IP?

 

 

Looking through the system, the mysql and mysqladmin tools nor the mysql Perl mods are loaded on the BIG-IP. Does this mean that MySQL is not a supported monitor?

 

If one were to load the MySQL Perl module to allow the BIG-IP to login to a MySQL database to check uptime and accessibility; would that void the manufacturer support contract or warranty?
