NimbostratusMy F5 VIP SSL URL is redirecting to NON SSL URL
I have two servers which can listen to both SSL and Non-SSL traffic. We have defined a VIP URL on ports 80 and 443 with 80 pointing to non-ssl ports of those servers and 443 pointing to ssl ports of those servers.
To reduce the complexity we just want to point LBURL:443 to point to non-ssl traffic of the backend servers. Now we are facing an issue where the LBURL:443 is redirecting to LBURL:80. Not sure why. Can anyone help us what exactly need to do?

prasadr_179197In precise, we configured LBURL:443 to point to back end web cluster(having 2 servers) listening to http traffic. After that our https://LBURL is automatically rediredcting to http://LBURL

we had this issue previously. the web page used static links, and redirected traffic to http not https
