Multiple Pools on Single Virtual Server
Hi Folks,
My requirement is to have multiple pool members associated with single VIP. I have two http_pools (CTX11_12) & (CTX13_14) and want to associate these two pools with this Virtual Server CTXAPP_VS. Is there a way to configure this option, basically i have two environments, legacy and new. Legacy environment is associated with (CTX11_12) & new environment is with (CTX13_14). If a user connects to the VIP i want to have a rule which can load balance between these pools.
I am looking for a example which can give a clear understanding.
Regards, Imran

Why you can't create a pool with both sets of servers in?

yes, you can do it with Irule. But you should know the parameter which can tell request came in for Legacy or New environments. I have similar setup for diffrent application and I am routing traffic based on the uri parameter to diffrent pools. Like /us goes to pool1 and /br goes to pool2.
