Multiple Decodings

I have an application that is showing a lot of violations for Multiple Decoding. From I am seeing it looks like I can increase the value to 2 to 3, and that should help my problem but not necessarily...

I always try to keep it in two decodings, but sometimes I've had to set it to 3 (when not in the mood to teach lazy programmers how they have to do their job).
