Mar 09, 2010Multi Site SSL Cert
I want to setup a SSL cert with several names assigned to it (IE work.domain.com, lab.domain.com, sleep.domain.com ) so i can join our SSL sites under 1 IP instead of several on the LTM.
Reading through the knowledge base, I found
https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/6000/800/sol6823.html
but I am not sure this will work for me since the certificate itself is not a *.domain.com type. So is it even possible to have the F5 handle a Multi-Site SSL cert?
Thanks.
William

Hi William,
A multi-subject cert should work fine. For versions lower than 10.1.x, you'll need to convert the cert and key to PEM format before importing them.

Thank you for answering.
I was thinking of upgrading my 9.4.5 boxes to 10.1. So if I do upgrade, I wont need to do anything special like convert to pem format. Right?
