Monitoring Pool Member Status / Emailing Alerts & Maintenance period

Hello,

 

 

We have configured emailing alerts on monitoring pool member status change.

 

 

This is working fine, but i do not know how to handle maintenance period ?

 

 

I mean, some nodes a under maintenance every night, from 1am -> 1:30am.

 

 

I would like emailing alerts not working for nodes under maintenance for specific periods.

 

In the same time, emailing alerts should keep on working for other nodes.

 

 

Any ideas how to do so ?

    Hi Boris,

     

     

    Which LTM version are you running? The only option I can think is less than graceful. You could use a script called from crontab to rewrite the syslog-ng.conf (or the bigip_sys.conf configuration for 9.4.2+).

     

     

    Anyone else have ideas on this?
