Monitor for streaming Flow

Hello, I have a Virtual Server that weighs (round robin) two wowza servers monitored with Tcp. My problem is that servers, which generate a streaming flow, being monitored with Tcp are up even though...

A TCP monitor will only complete a handshake with the pool member. There is no guarantee that the service is working, just that the F5 can talk with the server and that port is open.

 

You need to monitor at the application level. F5 has multiple built-in monitors that you can use. If there is no monitor for your type of application, you have the option to write an external monitor.
