Hi,
I want to monitor two ports on a node before marking it up. Example: port 80 and port 7006 would both have to up before traffic is routed to the pool member node , whic is on port 8...

Jan 06, 2009We use alternate ports for monitoring custom APIs. We have the app port (like your port 80) and a status check port (like your port 7006) which responds with a up/down message.
Create a monitor in the Monitors view for each of your two ports (set the type for each port's checking HTTP and HTTP?) and then add both monitors to your pool member. It will, by design, need both monitors to be "up" in order for that member to be active.
