monitor between 2 application

Hi Guys,

 

 

I met a porblem, please give me help if you can, thanks !

 

 

we have application1 and application2

 

application2 is monitored by its port in a pool, if this port is down, it will be disabled

 

 

I'd like to realize that if application1 down, tell LB to disable apllication2 in its member pool

 

 

I could also monitor application1's port, and create iRules to do it

 

But is there any more easy way to achieve it ?

    Hi,

     

     

    You can configure an alias address and port on a monitor to check a separate IP:port combination but mark the current pool member down if the alias IP:port doesn't respond. You can check the online help in the GUI for details on the alias IP and port options in the monitor section.
