It says 2G there, so it should work with LTM only and 2G memory.

The CPU is not a big problem for VE, the limitation is mainly based in the memory. The minimum documented is 4G, with up to 2 modules. Maybe you could run LTM only with 2G, but you will have to try. Basically, the system will either complain during the installation or will fail to provision the module in case there is not enough memory.

"Memory: 4 GB or less
The following guidelines apply to VE guests provisioned with 4 GB or less of memory.
No more than two modules may be configured together. AAM should not be provisioned, except as Dedicated."

"Memory: 4 GB or less (VE only)
The following guidelines apply to VE instances provisioned with 4 GB or less of memory.
No more than two modules may be configured together. AAM should not be provisioned, except as Dedicated. ASM can be provisioned with this amount of memory, but a sizing exercise should be performed to ensure that it does not hit capacity issues."
The smaller hardware from previous family, 2000 series, comes with 8G. The iSeries to replace that comes with 16G. So, we can't use the hardware as an example that will run with 2G.
