Have you tried our journeys tools, it does require network plumbing of the target device if you do decide to try this device GitHub - f5devcentral/f5-journeys: F5 Journeys Migration Utility - migrate or upgrade BIG-IP into new F5 platforms.
As you stated platform-migrate is one option and you will have to account for interfaces/vlans etc. Overview of the UCS archive 'platform-migrate' option (f5.com)

Does this mean Management IP, trunk and VLAN information will be picked from the Appliance and this information in the UCS from old device will not have any impact on the destination tenant ?
