Nov 03, 2016Migration from 4000s to 2000s
Hi All,
We are planning to replace 4000s with 2000s. During migration can I just create ucs from 4000s and upload to 2000s? Will this work?
Thanks.

Nov 03, 2016No. For migrating between platforms I would recommend setting up the new system with base configuration(Activating License, Hostname, etc) then adding it to the device cluster and device groups as necessary to sync the remainder of the configuration. This is the most reliable way to migrate configuration.

Nov 03, 2016Assigned ip address & hostname to device, activated license, imported UCS &
load sys ucs YourUcsFile.ucs no-platform-check no-license with these commands. Crt & key will be there in ucs if attached with Profile.
No need to copy bigip.conf. plz check the logs.
