Migration from 4000s to 2000s

Hi All,   We are planning to replace 4000s with 2000s. During migration can I just create ucs from 4000s and upload to 2000s? Will this work?   Thanks.

Hi,

to restore a UCS file on a new platform, you must restore it from tmsh.

  1. upload file on the new appliance with WebUI

  2. execute the following command on the new appliance:

    load sys ucs YourUcsFile.ucs no-platform-check no-license
