Migration from 4000s to 2000s
No. For migrating between platforms I would recommend setting up the new system with base configuration(Activating License, Hostname, etc) then adding it to the device cluster and device groups as necessary to sync the remainder of the configuration. This is the most reliable way to migrate configuration.

Hi Jhaas, thanks for your answer. so once I configure 2000s with base config i.e. self IP, vlan and floating IP so what should be best approach here? Do I need to copy bigip.conf, cert and key from 4000s to 2000s and reload?

Assigned ip address & hostname to device, activated license, imported UCS &
with these commands. Crt & key will be there in ucs if attached with Profile.load sys ucs YourUcsFile.ucs no-platform-check no-licenseNo need to copy bigip.conf. plz check the logs.
