NimbostratusMaster key on F5 devices, what is their purpose?
What is a master key and is it unique on the LTM devices in HA? also is it unique in the GTM devices in full mesh - iquery sync?

Master Key is used to encrypt sensitive data in your config file (shared by each member of the DSC). Unit Key is unique for device and is used to encrypt the Master Key.

By the way, regarding the GTM Sync group, as far as I know, the master-key is shared between them as well (one of your initial questions).
