NimbostratusMark VS or pool down based on monitor responses of other nodes
Can a Virtual Server be marked down based on monitors of pool nodes the VS isn't load balancing across?
We plan to have a virtual server load balancing across a the nodes of a pool. These pool nodes are not HTTPS nodes. I want to mark that pool (or the VS using it) down based on monitors of a different pool who's nodes are HTTPS.

Absolutely, but you'd need to use something like an iCall (or basic user_alert.conf) script to monitor the event (pool down) and execute a TMSH command in the management plane. Please review these posts for how that might be done:
