Management IP address in vCMP environment
I need to know if we can assign management ip addresses from different network ranges on vCMP host and guests. e.g. On host, management ip = 192.168.1.245/24 and On Guest, management ip = 10.10.10.10/24. vCMP guests are provisioned in "Bridged mode".
What I am trying to understand is that if I decides to apply new IP range to management of host and guests then what is the right approach to follow without loosing any connectivity. At the moment my existing management network configured is 192.168.1.0/24 (vlan 10) and want to change it 172.18.22.0/24 (vlan 20).

No, vCMP guest needs to have an IP on the same network as the host. Both vCMP host and guests use the same management port, it does not matter in which blade (if a VIPRION).
F5 management port does not support vlans, so you can't have multiple vlans there.
It is not exactly the same, but you can use a self IP for management traffic. In that case, must be a different network as the management.
The Linux system is responsible for the management port, while TMM is responsible for self IPs. If TMM is restarting or down, you lose the self IP access. This is why is not the same, but in most cases, behaviours the same.
