Regarding the irule discussed here:

Is there any way to build some kind of client IP based security into the rule? All of our admin traffic comes from 192.168.1.99 as far as the bigIPs know, so I would want to restrict the /enable, /disable etc. pages referenced in the irule to be accessible from that address only.

you can do it by controlling IP addresses that are authorized to connect.

kevin_50596Thanks for the reply, I've got it restricted to traffic generated from a specific IP, is there any way to use the BigIP to password protect the /enable, /disable, /check, and /usage pages with username and password? I don't think LDAP authentication will be possible but was hoping for some other method?
