Jul 19, 2012LYNC Mobility on iPad/iPhone
I installed LYNC mobility and it works for android devices but not apple. If I browse to the lyncexternalpool/autodiscover/autodiscover.svc/root/domain URL in safari, it gives me a warning that safari can't verify the identity of the website. The datails shows the digicert info for the site and everything looks fine. IE and Chrome do not give any cert warnings...
Is this an iPad/iPhone issue or have I not configured the digicert certificate correctly on the F5 reverse proxy VS?

Hi Chris,
Mobile devices tend to have less of the CAs and Intermediate Authorities. Take a look at your certificate path on your server export the CA and/or Intermediate CAs and email them to yourself. From there you can import these certificates-- see if this resolves the issue. If this is the case, you may need to change the chain associated with the SSL profile. One good tool provided by DigiCert is their SSL checker.

Let me know if none of this helps resolve the issue.

The Digicert tool says The server is not sending the required intermediate certificate...I checked on the two FE servers and it is there. Do i need to do something on the F5 side for this to work? - Chris_16805
