Hello Everyone my question is:- is that must the f5 selfip address and the back end servers address must be on the same network/subnet?

If you have a router or firewall between the self-ip subnet and the back end server subnet there is no need for it.
Don't forget to enable snat (automap or pool) on your virtual server configuration.

MathewIf you setting server gateway as F5 then its a must to be on the same subnet otherwise automap is fine and it doesn't require to be on the same subnet.
