LTM upgrade from 10.2.4 to 11.5.x
Curious on the "better/quicker" options and opinions of others? It will be on the same platform and will not be upgrading to a new platform. I think the platform is a 1600.
1. SCF file... I have never done it this way but I assume its easier? But do I still need to follow the upgrade path?
2. UCS file... Im familiar with this method but still trying to remember when to use daol and which upgrade path is needed?
Upgrade path question...
Is it 10.2.4>11.0>11.2.1>11.3.0>11.5.1 or can I skip a few with 10.2.4>11.2.1>11.5.1?
TIA

the way to go is just upload the new image and hotfix (you can go to 11.5.1 directly) and install it in an empty slot. then restart in that volume and you will be running 11.5.1. you don't need to work with separate SCF or UCS file, the upgrade process will do that for you.
still there is a good chance it won't be going without issue. read all release notes and be prepared to rollback after collecting data to have another try later on. also if you have a partner you could ask them to assist you.
