NimbostratusLTM Pool Statistics Requests vs Connections
On an iApp pool I am seeing connections going to the members but the 'Request' statistic remains at 0 while the 'Total Connections' are greater than 0. When looking at the help tab, it says requests are "Displays the cumulative number of requests (Total) that have been made to the node." My questions are, can connections be established with a pool member without making a request and if so what conditions are met to create the connection?

I rely on pool stats connection table (Current, Max , Total). I've not seen 'request' stats populated.
Erich_Macbeth_2After further research, I noticed that the iApp is using SSL terminated on the servers and I suspect that this is the reason why the LTM can not identify if the traffic is a request.
