LTM loosing passwords

Did you perhaps run switchboot and select another partition to boot from? There are multiple instances of the operating system installed by default. So it could be just the default passwords on the other partition. You'd just need to log in there and run switchboot again to select the correct partition to boot from.

 

 

If you can't log in you can use SOL 3350 (Click here) which shows how to boot in single-user mode and reset the root password.
