Jun 04, 2013LTM Loadbalancing Pool Members running on Different TCP ports
Hi team,
We have multiple APP servers running same application on different Ports, we need to load balance all these servers.
Eg:
Server 1 - 10.88.192.3:8886
Server 2 - 10.88.192.4:8885
Server 3 - 10.88.192.5:8884
Virtual server - 10.88.192.10:7070
1) Is it possible to create pool using these members and when hitting the Virtual server IP, traffic should have to load balance ?
2) If yes will there be any difficulties?
3) Is this standard configuration ?
regards,
suresh.

Just make sure port translation is enabled on the virtual server and you should be good to go. - Ecesureshkumar

hi Kevin Stewart ,
Thanks for your response. Port translation is enabled. We are planning to move this in production environment, is this best practice and will there be any issues after migration?

Port translation is enabled by default on a standard virtual server, so yes this is pretty normal.
