LTM inter-Vlan routing
Hi,
I am kind of new to the F5 world.Need a solution for the below Query.
I have a source machine which needs a FTP access to a server via VIP. I have 3 vlans. one for the VIP Vlan A and one for the backend servers Vlan B and another vlan X.
Source machine is on Vlan X .ie IP: 10.10.10.27 F5 self ip: 10.10.10.1 destination server is a VIP 10.10.20.61 (VLAN B self IP 10.10.20.1/24). Am unable to FTP from the source machine? I guess inter vlan communication does not work here? We are using this LTM as gateway to source subnet..
source machine (10.10.10.27) -> F5 (gateway 10.10.10.1/24) ->VIP (10.10.20.61/24)->pool member (10.10.30.10)
Any help much appreciated.
Regards, Parvez

Create your VIP in vlan X (10.10.10.Z) where Z is some unused IP address from the vlan and see if this works.

have you tried to enable vlan X on the ftp virtual server?
by the way, the ftp virtual server is already using ftp profile, isn't it?
