LTM error message / Exchange 2013 iapp
After upgrade F5 to 11.41 HF3 we see the following error in the LTM log. We implemented
TCL error: _plugin_rule_/Common/ntlm - attempt to use empty persistence key (line 16) invoked from within "persist uie "$tmm_ntlm_p""
Someone experience with this error log ?
NOTE the NTLM traffic on the DC and Exchange CAS is more as normal.

Hi Schrier, can you post the text of the iRule that's throwing the error here?
thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
That is the problem. I don't use iRules on this VS. Maybe I have to use one for troubleshoot.

If you are using the iApp and are using a combined virtual server, you have an iRule directing traffic to the appropriate pool.
However, looking closely I see that this may actually be a problem with the NTLM profile. Which Exchange protocol are you using when you see the error?

I don't use the combined virtual server overhere, the iApp create 4 vs, with default NTLM conn POOL. Almost everything default. The problem is on the OA virtual server. When I remote the oneconnect profile (and NTLM) the error is gone.

That looks like a bug with the NTLM profile. I recommend opening a case with F5 support. If you want to post the case number here, I can track it.
I can try to reproduce the error but I'll need more info. Are you using Basic or NTLM auth for your Outlook Anywhere clients? Do you have APM or AVR enabled in the iApp?

I simulated the proble in our test environment and wrote an irule, "disable caching". The error is gone now. Tomorrow my colleque will do a functional test. Thank you for your help.

Hi everybody,
we have the same log in our LTM 11.6.0 hf1.
the log written by our LTM is:
TCL error: _plugin_rule_/Common/ntlm - attempt to use empty persistence key (line 1) invoked from within "persist uie "$tmm_ntlm_p""
can you provide the steps followed to address this problem?
thanks,
